20 Local Guardsmen Return Home | News

BUFFALO, NY - Another 20 national guardsmen from New York State's Army National Guard's 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team returned home to Buffalo Thursday morning.

The soldiers have been deployed in Kuwait since April.  While overseas, the brigade performed administration, logistical, and security missions.

This is the second time this month that members from the 27th Infantry Brigade returned home.

We're told other guardsmen throughout the state will be redeployed at the end of the month, but soldiers here in Buffalo have been told that there are no future plans for them to be redeployed.
