Wrong Way Driver Pulled Over on the I-190 | News

BUFFALO, NY - A scary situation confronted drivers on the Niagara section of the Thruway Tuesday morning as they encountered a car going the wrong way.

State Police say that shortly after 10 a.m. they received a number of calls from drivers telling them someone was driving south on the northbound section of the I-190 between Vulcan and Ontario streets.

The car was pulled over without incident. State Police say the driver, 57-year-old Grace Muscoreil of Buffalo, was having a medical issue. She was charged with driving the wrong way.

She was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
