11 People Displaced by Fire | News
BUFFALO, NY - Two families on Buffalo's West Side are being assisted this morning by the Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross following a fire in their West Ferry Street home.
Buffalo Fire got the call for help around 1 o'clock Friday morning.
Buffalo Fire Division Chief Don McFeely tells 2 On Your Side it appears that some sort of electrical fire started on the first floor of the two family home at 453 W. Ferry and spread to the second floor and attic.
Five adults and six children were displaced by the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The fire caused $15,000 damage to the building and another $2,000 to the building's contents.
