Perfect Day For Fontana Regatta | News

BUFFALO, N.Y.-Monday was a perfect day for the annual Fontana All High Regatta at the West Side Rowing Club.

More than 300 athletes representing nine programs from Buffalo competed in both boys and girls events. Twenty events were decided.

St. Joe's took the men's eight and Nardin won the women's eight. The WNY Martime Charter school won the men's novice four.

It's a big year for the West Side Rowing club as it marks its 100th year this August. The Regatta was the last race of the spring. The summer program is open to anyone 12 or older.
